Stacey J. Schacter - Chief Executive Officer

Stacey J. Schacter as President and Chief Legal Officer of VION Receivable Investments manages the acquisition and collection of consumer and commercial debt. Since 1990, Stacey has focused on receivable buying, servicing and collections in the financial services industry, serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of Briannaco Investments; President of OSI Portfolio Services; President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Legal Officer of EMCC, Inc.; and attorney and advisor to several debt and receivable purchasing firms.

Mr. Schacter was a practicing attorney from 1988 to 1999 concentrating in Corporate, Securities, Securities Litigation, Mergers and Acquisitions, Specialized Asset Acquisition, International Business Transactions, Technology, Real Estate, Business Reorganization, Workouts, Bankruptcy (Chapter 11), Commercial, Banking and Restructuring. Mr. Schacter is a member of the Ohio and Massachusetts Bar; is authorized to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court; and has passed the CPA Exam.

Mr. Schacter has had several publications and speaking engagements on the economy and its effects on the receivables industry, collection practices, and bankruptcy. He is a former member of the Debt Buyer's Association Board of Directors and most recently was Chair of its Certification Task Force to create standards for the debt purchasing industry resulting in the first published standards for debt buying in the United States. He is currently a member of the American Bar Association Business and Securities Committee.

David Reak - Chief Operating Officer

David Reak joined VION Receivable Investments in January 2010 as COO. David is a 20-year veteran of the Accounts Receivable Industry with more than $5 billion in purchasing and sales expertise. As COO, David is responsible for implementation/integration and portfolio management of VION performing and non-performing receivables.

Prior to joining VION, David was EVP of Portfolio Purchasing at West Asset Management of Atlanta, GA. where he was responsible for purchasing, sales, and management of the West Asset Management portfolios.

With the Metris Companies, David held the position of Chief Credit Officer where his scope of responsibility included risk management, collections, credit operations, fraud and recovery, and management of more than 2,000 employees. His expertise in underwriting, portfolio management and risk operations helped grow Metris Companies from a start-up in 1995 to more than 4 million customers within seven years.

David's experience includes positions with Friedman's Jewelers, Intrepid Capital Partners, PeopleSupport, and twelve years at American Express with responsibilities in collections, recovery, finance, and global risk management.

David holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from State University of New York College at Brockport, a BS in Finance from Florida State University, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Gina M. Iacovelli - Executive Vice President

Gina M Iacovelli, as Executive Vice President of VION Receivable Investments, directly oversees the Financial Operations of the Company. Gina has more than twenty years of experience in the debit buying industry in strategic planning, administration, finance, budgeting, treasury and accounting operations with extensive knowledge and implementation of GAAP and internal auditing procedures. Beginning her career in the debt buying industry auditing the operations of internal and external credit and collection facilities, Gina is proficient in consumer and commercial accounts receivable due diligence. She also brings with her the expertise of valuing accounts receivable portfolios for third parties and in-house accounts receivable portfolio acquisition. Gina has been projecting accounts receivable portfolio performance for more than fifteen years.

Prior to joining the Company in 2008, Gina served as Vice President of Briannaco Investments, an accounts receivable consulting firm, Vice President of Appraisal Services for OSI Portfolio Services, a leading debt buyer, and Senior Vice President of EMCC, Inc., a national debt buyer.

Ms. Iacovelli received her Bachelor of Science degree, graduating summa cum laude, from Bridgewater State College in Management with a concentration in Finance and Accounting.

Larry L. Curran II - Chief Development Officer

As Chief Development Officer of VION Holdings LLC, Larry oversees marketing, sales, acquisitions, and new asset class development. Larry is instrumental in establishing pre- and post-purchase strategies working with vendors and developing the VION brand. He brings years of diversified experience from the debt buying industry from both the financing and acquisition sides of the business.

Prior to joining VION, Larry was Vice President of OSI Portfolio Services and Director of Acquisitions for Vision Management Services. Larry was instrumental in closing the first registered debt portfolio's with a major credit card issuer through the Global Debt Registry. To date has worked with two national banks and registered more than $800M in credit card receivables through the Global Debt Registry. Today registered debt is managed six layers deep by GDR as a result of registered transactions.

Prior to joining Vision Management Services, Larry was the owner operator of New Horizons Computer Learning Center of Southern Arizona, a franchise of New Horizons Worldwide, the largest computer training company in the world. During his ownership, the center was designated as the only Microsoft Gold Partner for training in the southwest region. Additionally the company was one of only two training sites in the country for the EC Councils Certified Ethical Hacking training centers. Franchise accolades include Fastest Growing Franchise, Highest revenue per employee, and highest EBITDA/Revenue 2004 out of 250 centers worldwide. The company achieved training partner status with both the BBB of Southern Arizona and the Greater Tucson Chamber of Commerce. In 2004, Larry was ranked as one of Tucson's leading young entrepreneurs by Inside Tucson Business Magazine. In 2005, the center achieved sales of $20M in training services.

Prior to purchasing New Horizons, Larry was part of an early debt-buying group that began purchasing charged off receivables in 1991. By 1993, Larry was the Director of Marketing & Sales for Performance Capital Management and NASD Principal of the Broker Dealer responsible for raising $50M in funding from 1,900 retail investors. Mr. Curran was regularly heard on 1600 AM Financial News Network and hosted investor groups weekly at the Performance Capital Management collection facilities.

Larry is a graduate of Colorado State University's Global Campus with a B.S. in Business Administration. Larry attended California State University at Long Beach for Finance and Western State University College for Law.

Barbara Anderson - Executive Managing Director

Barbara Anderson is Executive Managing Director at VION Receivable Investments primarily responsible for commercial receivable acquisitions. She was instrumental in the formation and development of VION's specialty acquisition programs in the medical sector and government sector as well as spear-heading VION's efforts in acquiring secured distressed commercial debt from banks and finance companies nationally. In addition, she is responsible for structuring factoring transactions as well as static pool commercial receivable purchases both in and out of bankruptcy.

Mrs. Anderson has 25 years of financial services experience including commercial lending, asset-based lending, factoring, and specialized retail finance. She obtained formal credit training at National Westminster Bank USA during a two-year management-training program after which she managed a $750 million portfolio of 27 lending relationships with consumer and commercial finance companies. After leaving NatWestUSA in 1991, she ran all business development activities for Allstate Financial Corporation (a publically traded factoring company based in Arlington, Virginia) and held several senior business development positions for The CIT Group in the Mid-Atlantic region.

From 1998 through 2009 Mrs. Anderson held senior management positions at BankBoston Retail Finance (now Bank of America) and BackBay Capital (a second lien lender), and started and managed three retail finance companies: IBJ Whitehall Retail Finance, LaSalle Retail Finance (now Bank of America), and National City Retail Finance (now PNC Bank). During this 12-year period, she worked with hundreds of small- and mid-cap companies as well as large publically traded companies to provide financing for acquisitions, restructurings, bankruptcies, recapitalizations, and refinancing with transaction sizes ranging from $10 million to $450 million. She was responsible for all new business origination and underwriting originating over $3 billion of new business for the companies she ran.

Mrs. Anderson attended Colgate University where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and graduated magna cum laude. She is an active member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Turnaround Management Association where she serves on the Board of the TMA Chesapeake Chapter. In addition, she is on the Board of Directors of the Commercial Finance Association.

Neil L. Brodsky - Chief Legal Officer and Chief Compliance Officer

Neil L. Brodsky as Chief Legal Officer of VION Receivable Investments provides strategic legal direction and counsel with respect to the acquisition and collection of portfolios of accounts receivable. In addition, as Chief Compliance Officer he is responsible for VION licensing and legal compliance, as well as the management of litigation and disputes.

Prior to joining VION, Neil served as Senior Corporate Counsel for Granite Telecommunications, LLC, the nation's largest business-to-business competitive local exchange carrier. At Granite, Neil provided the primary legal counsel and risk analysis in connection with the negotiation of a diverse range of commercial agreements, oversaw all regulatory and compliance matters, and managed all of Granite's litigation.

Prior to joining Granite Telecommunications, LLC, Neil served as the Vice President of Business Development and General Counsel of EMCC, Inc., and devoted his efforts on identifying and evaluating performing and non-performing debt portfolios for potential purchase, as well as overseeing EMCC's legal and regulatory practice.

Prior to joining EMCC, Neil was an associate with the Boston office of Duane Morris LLC focusing his practice on representing clients in the sale or acquisitions of assets and business and representing high-tech and emerging growth companies, as well as venture capital funds, in the capital formation and investment process. Prior to that, Neil was an associate with Hinckley, Allen & Snyder LLP in Boston. Neil holds a B.S. degree in Marketing from Miami University, Oxford Ohio and a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law.

Pat Napoli - Principal, VION Europa

Pat Napoli is Principal of VION Europa and he has responsibility for  the acquisition and collection of consumer and commercial debt in Europe. Pat has over seventeen years prior experience in the banking, consulting and collection and financial services industry serving both CMO and COO of MBNA Spain, later as a Senior Director of Barclaycard US and owning his own boutique international consulting firm, i-Partner Group.

Mr Napoli had deep international experience  as a result of being part of the launch team for two banks and has had great success in Europe and Latin America across the entire business life-cycle of a bank. He has frequently led  bi-lingual, multi-cultural teams to exceed goals and maximize ROI. Mr. Napoli also serves on the Board of Trustees for St. Benedict's Prep in Newark, NJ.

Cheryl Karcher - Chief Investment Officer

Based in VION's Atlanta headquarters and reporting directly to the COO, Ms. Karcher focuses on statistical modeling of potential investment opportunities and performance analysis of existing VION receivable portfolios. She also plays a key role in the development of best-in-class operational processes for managing the VION portfolio suite.

Prior to joining VION, Ms. Karcher was Vice President of Portfolio Analysis with West Asset Management. Prior to West, Cheryl worked with GE Money (formerly known as GE Capital) in Database Marketing, Credit Bureau Relations, and Recovery Strategy. She began her career in 1996 with Equifax building statistical scoring models and business solutions for Retail and Finance clients.

Ms. Karcher holds a Masters in Statistics from The University of South Carolina and Bachelors in Statistics from University of South Alabama.

Jason Van Vacter - Vice President of Operations

Based out of the VION's Atlanta headquarters, Mr. Van Vacter focuses primarily on creating operational efficiencies, performance reporting, and turn-key analytic solutions to support all aspects of VION's business.

Prior to joining VION, Jason most recently worked at West Asset Management, where he was a key contributor in analytics and forecasting within the Purchasing Division. Prior to West, Jason worked for three years within the Recovery Divisions of Compass Bank and GE Money respectively. He has a strong background in collections, and has had hands-on experience with Legal, Agency, and Asset Sale strategies and processes. Jason also brings a superior blend of programming skills, logical thinking, and positive attitude that will make him an invaluable asset to the company as we grow.

Amy C. Iacovelli, CPA - Controller

Amy Iacovelli oversees all financial reporting and treasury functions within VION, and directs the Company's office of Human Resources. She is based in VION's Arizona office reporting directly to the Executive Vice President. Ms. Iacovelli has more than fifteen years' experience in the debt buying industry with a focus in accounting and management. In addition to her responsibilities as Controller, Ms. Iacovelli serves a due-diligence advisory role in VION's acquisitions line of business.

Ms. Iacovelli began her career with EMCC, Inc. serving over a period of ten years as Accounts Receivable Associate, Accounts Payable Manager, and Lead Staff Accountant. In 2005 she joined Clean Harbors Environmental Services, a publicly traded company, where she worked extensively with Sarbanes-Oxley and other public accounting reporting requirements. In 2008, Ms. Iacovelli joined startup VION Receivable Investments, where she played a leading role in opening the VION's Phoenix office and establishing the Company's accounting infrastructure.

Ms. Iacovelli holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and a Masters Degree in Accounting & Taxation from Arizona State University, W. P. Carey School of Business.

Stephen J. Schlesser - Vice President of Finance

Stephen joined VION Investments in January 2017 and is responsible for managing the Company’s financial operations with regard to accounting and treasury functions including cash management, corporate taxation, financial statement preparation and budgeting, monitoring of expenditures, and human resources. Stephen develops and maintains the financial internal control environment across the accounting department, operations, and outside servicers to ensure reliability and security of VION’s financial information and assets. In addition, he develops strategic plans for the Company along with the senior management team.

Prior to joining VION, Stephen worked for Deloitte & Touche LLP as an Audit Senior Manager specializing in public company audits in the Consumer Products and Real Estate industry groups. He also participated in Deloitte’s National Management Development Program where he focused his efforts on audit quality inspections performed by the industry regulator, the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). Stephen is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Georgia’s J.M. Tull School of Accounting.
